No endorsement is intended for any books etc shown here, rather just a promotion of those who are trying to bring back memories of BR's first generation diesel fleets, either in pictures/captions or personal reminiscences.
Another plug for a book from a growing series about BR's first generation diesel fleet. Cost is GBP9.95 plus 10% P&P within the UK, more information can be found at www.strathwood.com. Other volumes currently available include The Deltic Class 55's and the Class 50's. Work is currently progressing on the Class 24/25 volume.

Another plug here for a fellow enthusiast's publication. Steve has provided a number of Class 24/25 views for the website and some of the dramatic snow scenes featured on the 'Inverness' and 'Snowy Day's' pages. Regrettably none of these are in his first book, but as it features the Class 40's in the Holyhead area this is perhaps not too surprising!

Yearly history of 1960 updated.
